Gujrat Police Announces Free Dental Treatment for Families of Fallen Officers

Metro53 - GUJRAT (Web Desk): In a significant welfare initiative aimed at supporting police personnel and the families of fallen officers, District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Akhtar Farooq has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dental Care Clinic Jalalpur Jattan to provide free and subsidised dental treatment services.

Under the agreement, the families and dependents of police martyrs will receive comprehensive dental care free of charge. The facility will cover consultation fees, routine check-ups, as well as all minor and major surgical and non-surgical dental procedures at no cost.

The welfare package also extends to serving police officers, personnel, and their immediate family members. They will be entitled to a 50 per cent discount on consultation fees and a 40 per cent concession on a wide range of dental treatments, including orthodontic procedures, root canal therapy, fillings, scaling and polishing, dental implants, tooth extractions, and other surgical and non-surgical procedures.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the DPO Office, where renowned dental practitioner Dr Owais Farooq Chaudhry represented Dental Care Clinic Jalalpur Jattan and formally signed the agreement alongside DPO Akhtar Farooq.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Farooq said the welfare of police personnel and, in particular, the families of fallen officers remained among the top priorities of Gujrat Police. He expressed gratitude to the clinic’s management for partnering in the initiative, stating that the agreement would help provide quality healthcare services at affordable rates while boosting the morale of the force.

He added that the sacrifices rendered by police martyrs would never be forgotten and that ensuring the well-being of their families was both a moral and professional responsibility.
