Metro53 - RAWALPINDI (Web Desk): Islamic scholar, columnist, and professor Ahmed Rafique Akhtar has made predictions regarding the Iran-Israel war, stating that the current conflict will be prolonged and that the atmosphere of negotiations involving Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu is merely a drama. He said Pakistan faces no immediate threat from the ongoing war.
He further claimed that in the future, Pakistan would formally become part of the conflict and that the Pakistan Army would take a leading role.
In his remarks, Akhtar added that conquering Iran is beyond the capability of any global power. He said Trump and Netanyahu are in a state of panic, noting that around 70 percent of Iran consists of mountainous terrain, which, according to him, even nuclear weapons cannot significantly impact. He further stated that Israel, the United States, and European powers would regroup, first aiming to take control of Yemen.
Akhtar predicted that a bloc of Muslim countries would eventually emerge, led by Pakistan, and that it would face off against European powers and the United States, ultimately achieving victory and bringing real change to the world.
Commenting on Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, he said there are no visible chances of his release in the near future. He used harsh criticism, calling him ineffective and stating that even at this stage of life, he has not changed his habits, questioning what better he could do for the country.
