Metro53 - Donald Trump has stated that Israel will not carry out further attacks on Iran’s key South Pars gas field, provided Iran does not launch another attack on Qatar.
In a statement issued from New York, Trump said that Israel targeted the gas field amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.
He revealed that the United States had no prior knowledge of Israel’s action and clarified that Qatar was not involved in the attack in any way.
According to Trump, Iran launched a missile strike on Qatar’s gas facilities without confirming the facts, resulting in a fire and significant damage.
Donald Trump also warned Iran that if Qatar’s LNG facilities are targeted again, the United States could take strong military action.
It is worth noting that Qatar is one of the world’s leading suppliers of liquefied natural gas (LNG), and any damage to its facilities could disrupt global energy supplies.
