Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk):A tragic incident occurred in Sara-e-Alamgir, where a three-year-old child lost his life after falling into an open sewer at an under-construction house.
According to details, three-year-old Saifullah was playing outside his home in a private housing society of Sara-e-Alamgir when he accidentally fell into an open sewer of an under-construction house. No safety barriers or protective fencing had been installed around the construction site.
Upon receiving information, the local administration reached the spot, and the child’s body was shifted to the Civil Hospital.
It is noteworthy that this is the second incident of a child falling into an open sewer in Sara-e-Alamgir due to alleged negligence by the administration. Despite previous incidents, no effective safety measures have reportedly been implemented to prevent such tragedies.
