Metro53 - Gujrat: Separate incidents of street crime were reported in the areas of Shaheen Chowk and Kasoki Dawara, where mobile phones worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were snatched. Police have registered separate cases in both incidents.
According to details, in the Kasoki Dawara area of Jalalpur Jattan, unidentified individuals carried out a dangerous robbery. At gunpoint, they snatched a mobile phone worth Rs. 125,000 from Mir Ijaz, a resident of Rehan.
Meanwhile, at Shaheen Chowk, unidentified suspects threatened a resident of Bahawalnagar and snatched an expensive mobile phone.
Following both incidents, police have registered cases against the unknown suspects at Saddar Jalalpur Jattan Police Station and Shaheen Chowk Police Station. Investigations are underway to arrest the culprits.
