Metro53 - GUJRAT/LAHORE: President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, has congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari on his party's success in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections.
Chaudhry Shujaat also extended his congratulations to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for what he described as a remarkable electoral victory.
According to media reports, the PML-Q chief said that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan had voted in favour of democracy, development and stability. He stated that the election result reflected public confidence, political wisdom and a commitment to serving the people.
Chaudhry Shujaat further congratulated party office-bearers and workers for conducting a successful election campaign, saying that party leaders and candidates had effectively conveyed their message to voters across the region.
He expressed the hope that both parties would continue to work together to promote national unity, political harmony and public welfare. He added that the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party had also appreciated the cooperation extended by the PML-Q during the electoral process.
