Metro53 - GUJRAT: A coordination meeting to review arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram was held in Lalamusa under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Kharian, Ahmed Sher Gondal.
The meeting was attended by the SHO City, representatives of the National Highway Authority (NHA), officials from relevant departments and organisers of Muharram processions.
During the session, participants jointly inspected the routes designated for Muharram processions and conducted a detailed review of road closures, alternative traffic routes and diversion plans to ensure smooth movement during the observance.
Authorities also finalized necessary measures relating to traffic management, security, public safety and the peaceful conduct of religious processions.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Ahmed Sher Gondal directed all concerned departments to complete their preparations in a timely manner to facilitate mourners and maintain law and order throughout Muharram.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the district administration, police, NHA and other relevant institutions to work in close coordination to ensure comprehensive and effective arrangements during the holy month.
